Cute Kittens

Today I took some pictures of my sisters kittens, there are five of them in this batch, they are a cross of Persian and Himalayan. There are too many for my sister to look after, if you're interested in buying please contact me.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No.. its the ceiling.

Hahah.. this one has lazy eyes
I call this one MJ

See the resemblance?

And you think looking after one kid is exhausting.

Patching up a hole.

Today i sent Mina the maid to get the hole in her teeth filled in.

There were some scary looking tools

Dont worry, its not an injection, its what they use to squirt the filling in. Speaking of, they didnt even use any injection while drilling into the very sensitive center of her tooth.

That, coupled with the feeding tube, justifies this worried face.
She stuck through it and now has something to smile about :)

There's a jungle growing in my car!!

As i got into the car this morning and checked the rear view mirror to reverse, i was shocked to see this:

WTF?

naturally, i was rather curious as the why a tropical rain foret appeared to be growing in the boot of my car. Did my mum go a bit over board with the floral decorations or what?

WTF?!!?!?
Ahh, all is well, she just wanted me to throw that in the dumpster. Still.. WTF.

Wheels bar

Tonight we went to Wheels bar to check out the scene..

'The Starlets' play there every friday night, and let me tell you, they sing like angels! (and im not just saying that because were related)

The starlets sing 'sway with me'

If your free on a friday night (who isnt..) come and check out the starlets at the wheels bar! you wont regret it.

Ala Mak!

This evening we went for dinner at Ala-Mak.

It is a really chilled out place..
A testament to the relaxing nature
I ate some delicious roti canai with lamb

Pardon me, with such tastyness, you simply cant resist!

The highlight of the night was meeting a new feline friend... i just had to give it a bit of my lamb..

Aww.. aint that cute.. BUT ITS WRONG

See the resemblance?

Chilling at Sau Pau Cafe

We went to chill at 'new sau pau cafe' near the boulevard,

Though i wasn't daring enough to try any of the pau, i opted for a refreshing Ice Milo.

Mmmmm... Ice Milo...

A good image to portray the gloominess today

In cities no one is quiet but many are lonely;
in the country, people are quiet but few are lonely

Sending Chloe & Sarah to the airport

Today we had to deport Chloe & Sarah to KL, didn't wanna get the camera wet with tears, so not too many pictures..

Take care!

Dinner at Niko

Last night we went to Niko for dinner.

As per japanese tradition, we had to remove our shoes (or slippers as the case may be) before entering.

In stark contrast, my boots are pictured
with traditional Japanese slippers

They had a great selection of food,

I'm not daring enough to order
anything but the trusty salmon maki

Dark Knight scoffing down a bundle of vegetables and fish,
why they call it a California roll is beyond me.

Barbeque at Chloes

we had a barbecue at Chloe's place..

Though i only spent 30 minutes there, we had a blast!

Strangeness at miri airport

Had to deport my dad to Singapore today.. as i was the driver i had to stay by the car, during that time i saw some pretty strange things..

Good night, sweet prince
Ahhh... a fellow white guy! just when i thought i'd have someone to talk to i realized he had passed out.. and of all places, outside on the floor.. take note of the cigarette packet near his hand.. he probably had a tough night out, with no idea why or how he got to the airport.

Strange Umpa Lumpa peopleTake note of the masks they wear, at first glance it may look like they're protecting themselves from swine flu, but the truth is they are a die hard ninja turtles club, and today is 'look like the shredder' day. oh, and take note that the sleeping white guy has changed possition.
See the resemblance?
Any way, back to buisness - i said farewell to my father that that was that.

Adios!

Dinner at fratini's restaurant

This evening we went to eat at fratini's restaurant near the boulevard, my dad and i ate pizza, my mum ate some meat and my sister ate lasagna..

Some tenderloin, delicious to the taste, sour to the wallet.

This is my custom pizza which i name "kampong pizza"

To top the night off, glass of red wineThis is quite possibly the biggest pepper shaker.. in the world..
for some reason my parents giggled when my dad held it like this..
hmph.. childish parents..

Tennis at Boat Club

Today my father and i went to play tennis in the scorching mid-day sun at the Piasau Boat Club.

Balls on the court
Even though the sky was slightly overcast, believe me when i say it was hot! Despite the brush with heat stroke, i beat my dad 6-5. Together we consumed eight cans of 100 plus in the span of 1.5 hours.
Balls pictured on my trusty raquette
After that it was time to cool down, and nothing does the trick like a pint of..

Guinness?

Clearly the PBC management have decided to cut costs by diluting the Guinness with water.

Dad pictured smoking, stressed out by the loss
Never the less it got the job done.

A good day out and i would recommend any tennis fan to play at the boat club, the courts are quite nice ... I wish i could say the same about their beer..
